Hnee pagoda, also known as bamboo pagoda is home to a 500-year-old, gold-lacquered bamboo Buddha. The Buddha statue here is made of bamboo. If you love to visit historical places, I'd suggest you to visit this pagoda. It is a must go place for both local and foreign travellers.

This church is an old catholic church, located on top of a hill in this beautiful town. It was built during the colonial emperor. Even though it is poorly maintained, it still has some visitors since it is located on a hill. People can see Kalaw's breathtaking views from this place.
